Who is CHCSI?
Established in 1975, CHCSI (Camino Heights Community Services Inc.) exists to preserve and protect the open space in the Camino Heights and Camino Hills neighborhoods. CHCSI is a non-profit corporation that relies on a community membership program to carry out our goal of providing a safe area that provides value to its surrounding residents.
Our Mission
Protection of open space
Ensuring that the land provides homeowner value by remaining a non-residential open space for the sole use of the surrounding community
Wildfire preparedness
Ensure the open space meets or exceeds Cal Fire's wildfire preparedness guidelines
Governance
Maintain CHCSI's solvency and actively manage operations of CHCSI to ensure long-term viability of the non-profit corporation that owns the open space
Community Engagement
Create a community around the open space through volunteer activities, member informational events and community-wide gatherings
